A War Of Two Halves tells the dramatic and moving story of the gifted Hearts team of 1914, whose Scottish title ambitions were interrupted by the outbreak of World War 1.
Accused of being cowards by playing football, and inspired by Colonel Geordie McCrae, the team joined up en masse alongside fans and players of rival teams to form the first of the Pals Battalions. Many were killed in the trenches of Flanders.
Marking the centenary of the 1918 Armistice, and inspired by true events, this is an immersive, promenade production through Tynecastle Park, following the real-life players who became soldiers
